This pattern is one of our newest releases. It has been a highly requested addition to our pattern range.
Create different characters by using different coloured fabrics and applying different trims.
eg: red chiffon with a plaited braid wrapping around the bodice is perfect for Diana, or perhaps using a soft blue, pink, lemon or white with subtle flower sprays attached diagonally would make a beautiful cupid... You could also cut two chiffon skirts, one an inch longer than the other and apply a trim to one...
You will also find lots of additional uses for the separate pattern pieces:
-use the bodice pattern as a simple 8pc ballet bodice,
-use the skirt patterns to create ballet class skirts,
-make dance pants to go under any costume
The bodice has large seam allowances so it is easy to adjust to fit your dancer during construction.
This pattern comes with a 5 x A4 page, step by step basic construction guide. It is suitable for people who have attended one of our Bodice Masterclasses or who have a basic to intermediate knowledge of costume construction.
