Our Contemporary Platter Tutu Plate Pattern comes with two plate width options for you to choose from. (this pattern can also be used with a single layer of lycra or stretch mesh, to make a circle ballet skirt)
The Basic Leotard pattern is a very simple two piece leotard which is great for the more novice leotard maker OR is a perfect pattern for those who want to try slicing the pattern to create extra panel lines for colour blocking.
The instructions are written for those who are using a domestic sewing machine with straight and zig zag stitching capabilities. Of course, an overlocker and coverstitch machine can be used instead if you have them.
You will need: child sizes: approx. 130cm lycra, 2.6m x 6mm elastic, 2m strong tutu hooping
adult sizes: approx. 145cm lycra, 2.95m x 6mm elastic, 2.25m strong tutu hooping

Digital Download Information
This pattern is in PDF format and will open and print to the correct size. There is a 5cm reference square on each of the patterns to double check that the scale is correct once printed. You can send the PDF pattern to your local printer eg Officeworks, to have the pattern printed on two pieces of large A1 paper. Or you can print at home immediately using a tiled or poster format.
IMPORTANT!!! select 100% scale when printing and always check the 5cm square is accurate after printing.
